Finn Talking - post nap - brought sleepy into Mommy and Daddy's bed

He is the cutest boy in the world. He still has some issues with some sounds, which you'll see, but we can decipher what he says most of the time. He's getting better!

Sharing Leftover Ice Cream Cake (from Daddy's birthday)

And here's a picture of the cake in more pristine condition:

When Olivia learned that it was her Daddy's birthday, she quickly let it be known that WE MUST HAVE CAKE!!!

So with Grandpa's help (and Daddy's suggestion), a cake was procured and the twins brought it home to "surprise" Daddy on his birthday.

Pumpkin Patch 2014

"PUMPKINS!!!"  (I think someone's a little bit excited)

"Many-many pumpkins!  Wittle ones and beeg ones!"

So hard to choose...

I dunno.  You choose one Finn!

And brother did as asked, choosing nice pumpkins for himself and sister.

Finn's turn to drive the tractor.  He waited as patiently as he could for another kid to finish but was pretty much vibrating with excitement by the time he got to take the wheel.  "ORANGE TRACTOR!!! WOW!!! COOL ONE!!!" (in Finn's words)

Oli's turn.  "Mee-mee drive tractor too!!! Mee-mee turn now!!!"

"Look Dadda!!! Look Momma!!! Chickens!!!"

Home.  Wet clothes and muddy boots off.  Eating marshmallows.  Waiting for Daddy to finish making hot chocolate

Late Evening Park Visit

It was super hot today. So in the evening I took them both to the park, by myself! It's possible now that they understand and respond to language more,but you still have to do a good amount of chasing after wanderers. Hoping one doesn't fall while you're gazing at the other. Back and forth scanning.

The Garden City Park was full of families, even though it was after 7. Still warm enough to be in the cold water area. Even I took off my sandals and waded in to balance the sun rays baking my face.

 

 This last one has nothing to do with the park, just fun with yellow shorts and filters.

Weekend

We went to Richmond Family Place, Centennial Beach, and the park. I'm tired!

Finn was crying because Olivia had the red car and he wanted it, not the green car.

 But everything was OK once we got to the beach

 Finn's been puking so often we had to do a serious rug cleaning.
